AUDIO POST & DOLBY ATMOS

The mix is where everything has to come together.

Dialogue, music, sound design, effects, and ambience may arrive from different people, sessions, and stages of production. Audio post is where those pieces become one intentional soundtrack.

From editorial preparation and repair through mixing, immersive audio, QC, and final delivery, we build the technical process around what the project needs – without losing sight of what the audience is supposed to feel.

FROM ELEMENTS TO EXPERIENCE

Every decision changes what comes next.

Audio post is not a collection of isolated finishing steps.

Dialogue, sound effects, music, editorial choices, level, space, dynamics, and delivery format all influence one another. A decision that works by itself can create a problem somewhere else in the mix.

Just 4 Feet Studio approaches post as one connected process – listening to how the elements interact, making intentional choices, and carrying those decisions through to the finished master.

The goal is not simply to make everything audible. It is to create a soundtrack that feels coherent, translates reliably, and supports what the audience is meant to experience.

POST PATH

From source material to finished soundtrack.

The stages of post are connected. Editorial choices affect the mix. The mix affects how space and dynamics are used. Delivery requirements can influence decisions made much earlier in the process.

Keeping those stages connected makes it easier to solve problems where they actually begin instead of carrying them forward.

01

Prepare

We organize incoming material, confirm technical requirements, and make sure the session is ready for efficient editorial and mixing.

02

Edit

Dialogue, effects, ambience, music, and other elements are cleaned, repaired, assembled, and prepared as needed for the final soundtrack.

03

Mix

The individual elements are balanced into a clear, intentional mix that supports the story, performance, and intended playback environment.

04

Immerse

When the project calls for it, the mix can be extended into Dolby Atmos or another immersive format with placement and movement used to serve the experience rather than simply add activity.

05

QC & Deliver

The finished mix is reviewed for technical consistency, playback translation, and required deliverables before final versions are prepared for the client.

IMMERSIVE AUDIO & DOLBY ATMOS

More speakers do not automatically make a better mix.

Immersive audio adds another dimension to the decisions being made in post. Sound can establish scale, perspective, movement, distance, and the relationship between the audience and what is happening on screen.

But the additional space only matters when it is used intentionally.

Just 4 Feet Studio supports Dolby Atmos and immersive mixing in listening environments designed for accurate monitoring, critical decisions, and reliable translation.

The goal is not to fill every speaker. It is to use the available space when it helps the story, and leave it alone when it does not.

WHAT WE SUPPORT

The work changes. The listening standard does not.

Different projects arrive with different materials, technical requirements, and destinations. Our post workflow adapts to the work while keeping the same priorities – clarity, translation, consistency, and a finished soundtrack that does what the project needs it to do.

EDITORIAL & PREPERATION

Dialogue, music, effects, ambience, and other source elements can be cleaned, repaired, organized, and prepared for the mix as the project requires.

MIXING & IMMERSIVE

Stereo, surround, and Dolby Atmos mixing built around the intended experience, playback environment, and delivery requirements of the project.

QC & DELIVERY

Final mixes, versions, stems, and other required deliverables reviewed for technical consistency and prepared to the specifications established for the project.

CRITICAL LISTENING

A mix is only as trustworthy as the room where you judge it.

Good post work depends on being able to hear small problems clearly, make confident decisions, and know that those decisions will translate outside the studio.

Our listening environments are built around accurate monitoring, controlled acoustics, and repeatable playback so editorial, balance, dynamics, spatial choices, and final QC can be evaluated with confidence.

The point is not to make the room sound impressive. It is to make the work easier to trust.

HEAR THE DETAIL

A listening environment should reveal problems instead of hiding them or creating new ones.

JUDGE THE WHOLE

Dialogue, music, effects, dynamics, low end, and space have to be evaluated as parts of the same experience.

TRANSLATE THE WORK

The finished mix has to leave the room and continue making sense in the environments and formats where people will actually hear it.

Finish with a soundtrack you can trust.

Whether you need editorial preparation, repair, mixing, immersive audio, or final delivery, we can step into the process where the project needs us and carry it through.
